9/20/2019 0 Comments The journey to dateWe had a great trip over to Murray Bridge. First leg was up to Samaritan College in Whyalla and sleep over, which made for a shorter journey through to Murray Bridge in the morning. EP Bus Charters have looked after us really well, ensuring a comfortable and smooth trip. Kiplings Bakery in Balaklava was our go to stop for lunch on Friday and we relaxed for a few moments near the Mangrove lake. Arriving into Murray Bridge at 1.30pm, the afternoon was spent constructing our campsite and pits, familiarizing ourselves with the track and working through the afternoon time trial event which for S1 (primary school) and S2 (middle school) cars took from 5pm until 6.30pm. Once the track was cleared of these categories, the Senior School Students (S3) and adult community categories took to the track. The top 14 cars after these time trials are invited into the 'Shoot Out' which takes place at 9.30am Saturday morning. The outcome of the shootout will determine the top placings on the grid.
