OUR VISION
Pedal Prix offers students an exciting challenge to be involved in during their Middle Schooling at Navigator College. There are a large number of areas for students to become involved in, from being part of the operational riding teams, media teams, mechanical and vehicle modification and improvement groups and individuals interested in catering, nutrition and event logistics.
The aim is for students to build and strengthen friendships, provide an opportunity to create a supportive team environment, learn how to operate a recumbent vehicle, improve their personal levels of physical fitness and learn about race preparation and healthy eating.
There are also opportunities for Navigator College to strengthen its parent and community partnerships as part of the race preparation process. Parents can contribute by sharing areas of personal interest or professional skills and services. Many of our Navigator parents have experience in engineering and fabrication, mechanics and design, catering and nutrition and the development of personal training and fitness programs. We welcome expressions of interest from the wider community to get involved in this exciting initiative!

FUNDRASINING FOR NEW VEHICLES.
We have an aim this year to raise enough funds to purchase a purpose built trailer, suitable to fit out and transport our team requirements through to events in. Sponsorship packages are available by contacting our Pedal Prix co-ordinator Mrs Amy Fiegert. There are two main companies in South Australia who have the engineering capacity to create high performance HPV'S (Human Powered Vehicles) Trump Trikes are based in Adelaide whist 6-trikes are located in Mount Gambier. A new vechicle costs approximently $7000 so fundraising relies on support of our wider Navigator College school community.
