Racing throughout the night is a challenging undertaking. Our vehicles have taken a battering in the day time competition and a thorough service was necessary to ensure that mechanical issues had been been resolved, cosmetic damage had been repaired and that as much as possible we would not face delays in the pits due to mechanical failures. All vehicles are required to be fitted with both front and rear tail lights and many choose to have additional LED lights installed to help identify individual vehicles to their team management crew. Teams are rotating through the evening over a three hour time period. The evening temperature is expected to drop to 4 degrees so things are expected to be super chilly as we work our way through the early morning.
