9/6/2019 1 Comment Meet the teamThis year we welcome our 10 new riders joining our Murray Bridge team. Some have competed previously in the Adelaide 6 hour events, but this year they have made the decision to step it up to the 24 hour event. For others, this is their first time in the cars and competing in a Pedal Prix event. Joining the journey this year are... Continuing their Murray Bridge Journey (2017-2019) is 10 familiar faces... Team thoughts...Bella Kidney
"I have been doing Pedal Prix since Year 6 (2017) and have loved every second of it! I have loved being part of such a fun event. It's pretty scary and nerve-wracking to know that we are so close to the event (2 weeks!) however, I am also very excited for what is to come this year and the new experiences I'm going to have." "My personal goal this year is to push myself. I feel last year I didn't push myself as much as I could have, but this year my goal is to set a speed of 35 km/h for one lap! Go hard and fast." "For new riders this year, my advice is to go hard, but not on your first lap. You don't want to tire yourself out. DON'T EAT HEAPS OF JUNK BEFORE THE RACE!! And have fun, you only get this experience once a year so make it worthwhile." Angus Clark “This is my first year on the team and my journey has been hard keeping up with the fitness however, I manage to persevere. I'm nervous with little time to go, especially since we have only been in the car once and I'm not sure how I'm going to go. Sadly, last week I injured my ankle during PE, but I hope it heals in time before the event.” “I'm mainly looking forward to having a go and giving it my best and trying to stand out from the crowd. This will be an amazing experience.”
